Gender Equality:

On the eve of International Women's Day, the 50/50 by 2030 Foundation hosted an In-Conversation event with renowned feminist, Dr Anne Summers AO and Virginia Haussegger AM at the University of Canberra.



Dr Summers is an Australian writer and columnist, and a feminist icon. She is the author of eight books, including the classic Damned Whores and God’s Police, and most recently Unfettered and Alive. Dr Summers currently resides in New York and was visiting Australia for an exclusive number of events.



In this captivating and wide-ranging conversation, Dr Summers and 50/50 by 2030 Foundation Director Virginia Haussegger explored a range of issues relating to women, parliament, bullying, and sexism. We are now excited to share the video recording of this special event with you.
