'On Mother': In-Conversation with Sarah Ferguson
"As time elapses the careful ceremony around death relaxes, mistakes creep in, and while your heart is still raw, the world moves on as it must."
'On Mother' is a deeply personal story by Sarah Ferguson, a renowned Australian investigative journalist. In search for answers about the unexpected and sudden death of her mother, Ferguson gains a new understanding of the woman who existed beyond motherhood. A poignant reflection on their relationship, the book reveals an unreserved love across decades and continents.
Recently, Ferguson sat down with Virginia Haussegger, Director of 50/50 by 2030 Foundation for a special 'In Conversation' about the book. With storytellers' flair and raw honesty, the two women kept the audience enthralled as they reflected on both the quirks, and the sacred bonds of family relationships. We are honoured to share the recording of this session on BroadAgenda today.
